Tony Phillips was invited to speak at the 2nd Congress of AsCNP in Seoul, Korea on Sep. 24th. The title of his talk was "Glucocorticoid Receptors in the Pre-frontal Cortex: Novel Targets for Stress-induced Cognitive Deficits".

Tony Phillips was invited to speak at the 2nd Congress of Asian College of Neuropsychopharmacology in Seoul, Korea on Sep. 24th. The title of his talk was "Glucocorticoid Receptors in the Pre-frontal Cortex: Novel Targets for Stress-induced Cognitive Deficits".

Dr. Anthony Phillips is a world-renowned expert in brain function and behaviour. He is the Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction, the Founding Director of the UBC Institute of Mental Health, a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a senior investigator with the University of British Columbia/Vancouver Coastal Health Brain Research Centre. He is a former Head of the UBC Department of Psychology.

Congratulations to Stella Christie who received the Editor's Choice Award for 2010 from the Journal of Cognition and Development. The award is for her article, "Where hypotheses come from: Learning new relations by structural alignment".
