Here is some specific information for current and prospective UBC Psychology Co-op students.

The Co-op program at UBC allows students to combine their academic studies with in-the-field experience. There are many benefits of the program to students. By observing how real-world work places function, students can bring a new perspective back to their studies and get more out of their time at UBC. As well, having study-related work experience helps the chances of obtaining a rewarding position when students graduate.

I encourage you to make yourself familiar with the program by checking out the information available, including the Student Profiles, or by visiting the Arts Co-op website at http://co-op.arts.ubc.ca/.

Please visit me during office hours if you have any questions.

Best wishes with your studies.

Gillian Watson , Co-op advisor, Department of Psychology.
